Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I am selling a 1946-1947 Willys CJ2A Jeep with hard top. It ran two years ago. Have not have time to play with and get back to use. Asking $750 or best offer or will consider trades. Comes with bill of sale.”
I think the hood has been repaired.
“47 willys cj2a. Original flathead 4. New brake shoes mastercylinder wheel cylinders and brake lines. Converted to 12v with chevy alternator. New gas tank. New electric fuel pump. Starts and drives. (01/18/2012) This ran when bought ten years ago.
“I purchased this 1947 Willys Jeep with original 4 cyl. motor about 10 years ago with plans to restore it. Things didn’t turn out as planned as the money had to go towards other things. It’s been sitting in my girlfriend’s garage for 10 years! She says it’s time for it to go and sadly I have to agree.
All parts are accounted for. It ran great when I bought it but it hasn’t been started in 10 years.
Newer tires.
