“Willys jeep rock crawler project no motor trans or title $600 obo”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500
” Up for sale is my Willys flat fender Jeep. I’m not sure of the year; my amateur research shows the body maybe 1953 or around that time. The chassis appears to be maybe from 1970-1973 due to the fact that it has power steering and full spring shackles. This vehicle has been used on my property for the last 10 years, and has been a most reliable tool for the tasks I needed done here. It has no paperwork, and is really the culmination of several vehicles. It has a Chevy 4cyl engine; I think a 2.5 liter. It has electronic ignition and a new carbureter. There are two batteries; one for the chassis and one deep cycle for the 8000lb Smittybilt winch. They are switchable, so you can use either one or both together depending on your needs. I added new military leaf springs ( 12 leaf M38) at all four corners, and a limited slip in the rear differential with 4.88:1 gears. It has brand new tires with less than 1 mile on them, new brakes, new GM internally regulated alternator, and recored radiator. Sorry for the long post but wanted to include as much as possible so phone time isn’t wasted”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $8500.

(11/15/2012) Bob spotted this unusual farm jeep for sale. I haven’t seen a front bumper quite like that one; Maybe it’s a different version of a service/garage front bumper? It looks like it’s had a little body work on the side. The lift is some kind of Ford/Farmall adaptation according to John. The CJ-2A page had a discussion about this from 2010: http://www.thecj2apage.com/forums/1947-willys-my-first-jeep_topic15262.html
“Decided to sell my 47 Willys. Bought it at an auction a couple years ago. I have done some work to it but it still needs more and just don’t have the time for it. It has a four cylinder ford motor in it. I put a rebuilt carb on it, but it still doesn’t idle very well. Starter is new, brake lines are new, Master cylinder is rebuilt but brakes are not working. Needs wheel cyliders most likely.
It has a factory PTO on it. It also has a 3 point hitch on it. Don’t know if is factory option or not but it is pretty cool!
There are a lot of other things mounted on it, not sure what some of them are for. My best guess is that it had a wing plow mounted on it a some point.
Was going to use it for food plots and other various tasks around the farm. I bought a tractor so I don’t really need it any more. Hopefully someone can give it the time and attention it deserves.
Can deliver for an extra charge. Thanks, Pete”

“1948 Willys Jeep with a 327 small block chevy, 4 speed trans with warn overdrive, new tires, winch and several other great parts. The Jeep is complete and was running when I parked it two years ago. Will need some work to get it on the road again. I have too many toys and not enough time. This is a great flat fender Jeep that needs a new home. This is a project vehicle that is complete however needs to be cleaned up before being road worthy. Please contact me with any questions. 805-490-0441”

I can’t quite tell what’s been done to the front of this besides a plate across the front frame rails. It looks like a solid jeep.
