Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Someone installed a Cadillac rack and pinion in this, but it does not work. Unclear how much value is here.

Pinto engine in now but comes with a spare 1948 flathead and tranny. Steering is messed up rack n pinion with a Cadillac column. It comes with a roll cage kit you can install.”

“This is a cool rig! It was built over the years by an engineer machinist creative old fella! It has a Ford Flathead V-8! Yup, you read right. It has power steering, an actuated grille with Louvers, a split tail gate, and body exit exhaust etc. lots of ingenuity. It runs and has a title though it’s been parked a bit. Hasn’t been driven in a year or so. It has title also!”
