These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “For Sale or possibly trade/// 1947 Willys Jeep CJ2A will sell or possible trade for dune buggy, ATV, or ? This Jeep was dismantled to start restoration, ran great before being taken apart. it is all there with the exception of the windshield frame it is in good original condition with very little rust.”

(10/26/09) Lots of updates including a fiberglass body.
“This is a 1947 Willys Jeep. It has about 700 miles on it after a total rebuild. It has a rebuilt engine and trans out of 64′ mustang (289 v-8 and C4). The only original parts are the transfer case and axles. Its pure toy, but road legal. It has a bikini top, racing bucket seats, fiberglass body, modern tilt steering column, dual exhaust, off-road tires. HAVE SOME FUN OFF ROAD. ”
