Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a 1948 CJ-2A project rolling chassis that’s missing the tub (was too far gone). It has a Pinto 1600cc motor that’s bolted up to the tranny without needing an adapter. I stripped it down a couple of years ago as a project with my son but neither one of us has the time. Most parts are there, the windshield frame is new. Clear Fl title has it as a 1951 probably becuase that’s when it was 1st registered. The $500 price is firm, if I want to give it away I have plenty of friends who’ll take it.”

GM 350 turbo 350 auto trans. runs strong great cruiser. hardly driven still a little dusty in the photo’s. also has the soft top, doors, and spare tire mount on the rear. cleans up and shows great ust needs to be driven. $10000 OBO 805-814-0003 (will trade for boat) no junk.”
