About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“46 Willys CJ2A Column Shift + Extra Parts, Runs and drives – Body is rusted, Original 6 Volt System, Brand new Top never used, Lockout Hubs / 4 wheel drive works fine, Flathead 4 engine purrs perfectly, EXTRA PARTS, frame sandblasted and primed, spare engine + engine parts, Radiator, Springs, Transmission and Transfer Case, Email me for more pictures”
You’ll need a BIG trailer, but it looks like it might be a good deal if the frames are straight and if you have the space to store all this.
“Four actual jeep frames- one title. One nearly complete flat fender willy’s minus motor. The 72 cj is missing the front fenders and motor- maybe more?? A jeep motor from the same era is included- it did run when it was removed and has been stored inside. Trannys, transfer cases, extra hoods grills windshields- lots of good usable jeep parts. One of the frames is a cj with a lift kit the other is a willy’s. Also included is a bell housing to fit a 350 chevy motor to a jeep tranny, and a hood and grill from a 70’s mail jeep.”
“3 willys jeeps, one is an m38 body is rusted out have title, not running, 98% complete
The other two I am not sure of the year. not complete, no title, 3 motors and some extra parts would like to sell all for $2500.00 obo”http://www.ewillys.com/wp-admin/post-new.php
2 bodies and parts for only $200? It’s worth a closer look.
“I have a 1947 and 1948 Willys Jeep Bodies CJ2A, no front grill, otherwise complete. I am asking $200 for both bodies combined. . I will entertain a trade for something of equal value.”
“Very nice 1947 Willys CJ2A, small block chevy, turbo 350 automatic transmission, full rhino lined inside, everything painted and powder coated. I will consider trade for things of equal value or cash to make the difference,. Let me know what you got.”
“1948 Willys CJ2A. Non-running project. Ran great until 5 years ago, when the engine started burning excessive oil. Started teardown of engine for rebuild, but lost time and interest. The jeep has been garaged ever since. Includes roll-bar w/ cage (cage removed). Best-Top full soft top with doors. Clear Maryland Title. Good restoration candidate. $1800/obo…”
This is probably a replacement body, since there is no battery box.
“It has been completely restored and modified. I have over 20K invested. There is no rust on it. It has a Kenne Bell Built Buick 225 V-6 pushing over 325HP; it has a Saginaw 4 speed manual transmission Spicer 18 twin stick, 2″ body lift, Dana 44 rear axle, and Dana 25 front axle with 538 gears. It has a Saginaw steering conversion very nice to drive. The tub has been Rhino lined top and bottom the engine compartment has been Rhino lined also. It has been converted to a 12 Volt system. It has brand new gauges, shifters, a yellow top Optima battery, and all new wiring, everything is all top of the line no detail has been over looked. I have all the receipts for all of the work that has been done to it and everything that has been bought for it”
“Selling my 46 Flattie, just not enough time or money at the moment so it’s gotta go. Only bought this this spring so I haven’t accomplished much. This will also include a partially torn down Buick 225 Odd-Fire V-6. Motor had a bent push rod and has sat for some time. All parts except distributor come with it though, I may be able to get a distributor if that’s the selling point. What you see is what you get with this one, no seats, cooling system, or wiring. From the middle of the cowl back is all torch cut 1/8″ plate, not nice to look at but would take a beating off road. There is a trans, transfercase, and axles present but I have not checked them out and it is to be assumed that they need rebuilt. Best part is this thing has a clear title in my name.”
