Steve dropped me a note and shared some pictures of his jeeps.  Both the flattie and the CJ-7 look great!  If you need any help driving them, just let me know 🙂

He writes, “The blue one is a 1978 CJ7 and the Willys is a 1948 CJ2A. I’ve had the CJ7 for 27 years and got the Willys from my dad last year. The Willys has been in the family for 50 years, most of it spent with my late Grandfather in California. When I got the Willys from my dad, it was in rough shape, and I spent about a year fixing it up. I really enjoy driving both, and the Willys gets a lot of attention.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.

This looks great, though to be period correct in needs a few changes.

“Frame off restoration with EVERY part rebuilt or replaced to period correct condition. New seats and seat frames, new gas tank, new tires, new brakes, new gauges, etc.  Transmission, engine, differentials, gear boxes, wheel knuckles, everything…rebuilt with original parts. This vehicle does have the original PTO unit on the back.  It’s a pretty cool and unusual feature. No rust, powder coat desert tan paint.  Powder coat was done by a professional hot rod shop. Runs Great!  Great FUN!!! I have a shop full of automotive projects and it’s time to move on to the next one.”

It’s a project.

“Here is a great Jeep for someone who has the time to put into it. I got this project for my son and I and we never got to it. It is all complete, and I have a set of axles from a 1976 CJ to go with it for the right price. I also have a “Go Devil” engine that will make it a complete package. What we have here is a frankenjeep.  This has a DJ-3A body with tailgate, a CJ-2A windshield, a drivetrain with what appears to be a rear PTO, and what appears to be some CJV-35U Bezels.

UPDATE: **SOLD** was $1000

“1948 WILLYS JEEP CJ2A:  All original. Flathead 4 cylinder go devil engine. Original T90 transmission and original T18 transfer case. This Jeep does run, drive and stop however it needs total restoration.
The floors need redone. The previous owner did a bad repair job. There is some rust here and there as well. It has been converted to 12v. I have had this jeep for several years and it has been my primary off road toy. I just recently got a different jeep so I no longer need this one. I used this one for some parts for my new one. This one is still complete and can be made road worthy with little work. Right now the gas tank is not hooked up and it will need either the generator hooked up or a alternator installed. I can start and run it for the buyer off of a gas can. It has always ran well and has never left me stranded. This Jeep can be used for parts or with very little work can be made road worthy again. I drove it into my shop last weekend to remove the parts I wanted for my other one so it has not been sitting for very long. I do have a clean and clear title in my name. I have a bunch of Willys parts that I will not be needing so if the buyer wants some I may throw some in with the purchase of this Jeep. Basically cleaning up the garage a little! I will not part out this jeep only selling complete. $1000.00 cash FIRM! No I will not take a penny less. Not selling it because I need the money just don’t need two Jeeps around anymore. If i can’t give it away at $1000 it can sit in my shop and i will use it for parts. ”
