This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1947 willys flat fender had full frame off restoration. GM 350 turbo 350 auto trans. runs strong great cruiser. hardly driven still a little dusty in the photo’s. also has the soft top, doors, and spare tire mount on the rear. cleans up and shows great ust needs to be driven. $10000 OBO 805-814-0003 (will trade for boat) no junk.”

(08/03/2010) Buy it and watch it climb up in value? Why won’t mine climb!
“There is less then 1000 miles since a complete mechanical rebuild except 4 cylinder which has about 5000 since major rebuild. Radiator, gas tank , wiring harness & all guages are new. It has a Borg-Warner overdrive. It rides on 235XR15 street tread tires. The seats are reupholstered. It has a Bimini top. It has been painted red in the past, and paint is good. It had some floor rust which has been replaced. It is a good driver. These Jeeps are appreciating in value. A number 3 in the old car value guide is $11,390. It’s been garage kept. At age 77, It’s time to part with it. My loss is your gain. Have fun now & watch it climb in value. Located 90 miles from Little Rock, Ar. Drive it home or I’ll deliver in 100 mile radius.”

“Own a piece of American history with this 1946 CJ2A Willys. It is fully restored to original, runs great, and is very clean (never used off road since restored), tires are in excellent condition, new battery, new alternator, and has been converted to 12v . Asking for $7,000 obo.”

“1946 Willys CJ2A Jeep, 360 AMC engine, Edlebrock intake and 4 bbl carb, HEI dist, ’76 CJ5 T-15 3 speed trans and ’76 single lever Dana transfer case, ’84 CJ5 Dana 30 front axle, locking hubs, new disc brakes, ’84 AMC 20 rear , new brakes, Summitt racing seats, new gas tank, Bikini top, ’69 Dart radiator, twin electric fans, runs cool all day, two sets of tires on rims, one set street/sand and one set off road snows, windshield wiper, turn signals , spare tire, full roll cage, custom tow bar.
Built 3 years ago for cruising the beach at Brigantine. Tows easily. Great for the beach and short trips around town. Never been in the mud. I have another Jeep for that. ’69 Dodge Limelight paint. You won’t lose it in the parking lot. If you are an old school fan of the original square fender Jeeps this might interest you. The body is completly original. 856 235 8380”
