Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1942model Wyllis CJ2A jeep. Needs paint, brake lines and fuel tank. Engine and transmission are good. Runs smooth. $1,500 or will consider trade for a good, used 4 wheeler.”
There has been some body work done at the step area.

“Nice Frame, off restore 2006 – Approx 1,000 miles on new engine. Trans – Transfer case and axels in very good condition. All sheet metal is new! Paint – John Deere Green, yellow wheels – new tires. New brake lines, shoes, master and wheel cyls. New exhaust pipes and muffler. New leaf springs, hangers and bushings. New wipers, arms and vacuum lines. New shocks, tie rod end and stabilizer. “Nice original condition continual use survivor. Aprox. 5000 miles on new engine. Trans, Transfer case and axels in very good condition. Body, fenders, hood, windshield and tailgate repaired original Toledo Ohio Steel. Good Paint – Safety Red.
New in last 4 years –
