UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay
Except for the rust along the passenger side, this appears pretty solid. I think the front frame rails and bumper are in good shape, too.
“For sale a nice used 47′ CJ-2a jeep. Running condition, everything works fine but the brakes could use a master cylinder. Body is in pretty nice original condition with the only damage being a rust spot on the passenger rear quarter, and the passenger floor has a plate of metal on the floor. The complete nose with windshield is excellent shape, as is the undamaged dashboard with all good gauges.
The frame is also very good shape, with the original bumper gussetts still intact, bolted to a homemade bumper that is easily removable. Rear drawbar is in perfect condition.
The axles appear to have been changed out by a previous owner to MB military units both front and back. You can see the military axle mount bellcrank not connected, as the 2a has a crossmember mounted bellcrank.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $2200
(09/30/2011) No pics provided, but the body is supposed to be a little rough.

Both are projects.
“I have two Willys Jeeps for sale. One is a 1948 Willys Jeep Carry All and the other is a 1950 Willys Overland Jeepster Carry All. I have the titles to both. The 48′ has the original flat head 4 cylinder, but no transmission. The motor has been completely rebuilt, but never fired. The 50′ has no motor, but does have a transmission. Restoration was started, but never finished on both. Bodies are solid, with very little surface rust. They both have been stored in a shed, on concrete for the past several years. I am asking $5000 OBO, which is the price for BOTH.”
No pics provided.
“Great project. 1947 CJ-2A It is the first year of the civillian jeep. It has the F head 4 cylinder w/ low hrs. 3 spd. trans. Body is in fair shape some rust in tub below driver and passenger. This is definitely a project. Hasn’t run in many years. Was stored inside part of the time and covered outside the other. Transmission is out but all the parts plus a spare trans. and trasfer case are there. It doesn’t have a hard top or doors. With the exception of the F head it is all original. Would consider trading for a miller bobcat 225 or 250 portable welder”

This looks solid.
“1948 Willys CJ2A Jeep
Flat Head 4 cylinder, Transmission and 4 wheel drive system excellent working condition, was running well when last parked. Needs a bit of TLC to bring it back to solid running condition, but shouldn’t take much. Needs a fuel system run through, since it has been sitting for a year without regular use.
This is a great vehicle and should provide the new owner with many more great years of service or possible car show / parade candidate. Has an updated CJ3A windshield which is considerably more functional than the original 2A windshield.
Formerly used on regular basis on local Christmas Tree farm.
Registration and Bill of Sale provided.
2500.00 invested, will accept best offers.
Tires are good, showing just a bit of normal age.
Best top soft top installed 3 years ago for off season use.
Needs new battery.
Call for date / time to view 656-9216 come take a look and make offer.
Vehicle is being sold as is, with no implied warranties. Vehicle will need to be towed or moved by car hauler or trailer as it currently is not fully running or licensed.”
