This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
-new parts include wiring harness, shocks, muffler, alternator, head gasket, spark plugs
-needs minor things like a new radiator cap, brake lights (even with a new switch and wiring I was unable to get them to work), could use seat cushions, speedo cable, gas tank strap, etc.
-Ran and drove great until I went to drive it a couple miles to my shop the other day and it sputtered a little on the road, not sure why and haven’t had time to look into it. Maybe needs a carb adjustment or tune up. Video is from right afterwards. Located in Elkhart, IN. Clean title in hand in my name. Will not respond to “is this available”
It’s a runner, not sure on the power plant here, but they seem to have enjoyed this one.

Posted a few weeks ago for $7800 OBO. Since then motor has developed a crack in number four cylinder at top back of water jacket. Worst case scenario for me, as I don’t have ready access to machine shop for resleeve of cylinder. I also don’t want to put more money into this project which was completed (or so I thought). At this point will probably sell for a loss and move on. So many new parts it would be easier to list what wasn’t replaced or repaired. I’m listing for $5800.00 OBO. Clean title in my name and new tow bar included.

I have had jeeps for over 50 years. In that time, these are the two that I kept. The CJ 2A, would be a good project for someone. It has a very reliable drive train and the body is decent. The CJ 3A, is one of the nicest, most original models that I’ve seen. At one time in its life, it was painted John Deere Green, but it does have the original drive train and mostly original parts.
I would like to sell all of this together, as one package. Asking $22, 000.

Posting per the seller for the year, grill looks later, so not super super early is my thinking. But a Title is just a piece of paper so if it says 1945 and is legit it is what it is, on Paper. Says OBO.
