This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This looks mostly stock, with a few minor mods like the lower windshield wiper, the front parking/turn signals and the addition of extra lights on the back.

(08/19/2011) Not perfectly stock, but perfectly nice.
“This is a beautiful Jeep Completly restored. Engine and drivetrain has been rebuilt with all new parts. The best way to describe this vehicle is better than new condition, It didnt roll off the line in 48 this nice! Every single part that could be replaced on this Jeep has been replaced. I’m posting this for my grandpa who spent 13 years on this project. The end project was so nice he didn’t want to drive it, That being the reason for only having 60 miles on it. All the mechanical work was done by a professional mechanic, same goes for the body work. The underbody is coated with paint matching truck bed liner. Shocks, brake componets, bearings, rims, tires, radiator everything on it is new. If your a serious buyer please call James at (989) 793-4857 and he can go over everything in detail with you, Like I said I’m listing for my grandpa. I can get an answer for you if you prefer email.”

It’s a project.
“1947 Jeep CJ2A. My son & I were going to build this Jeep, but, decided on a CJ7 instead. We got it running last year, clutch is good, drove it around the yard & gears all work. Frame is very good, body is better than average. We decided on the CJ7 because top speed on the CJ2 is around 40mph. This is a good winter project for someone. $1,300 207 450 6184”

Has 3 speed tran with over day. runs like top. Seat out High back bucket seats . Tops in nice shape no rips tire are almost new .”
