“1946 Willys Jeep, CJ2A. Excellent condition!!! Runs great. Everything works. New body installed 2004. Frame was cleaned and painted. New wire harness, lights, brake lines and hoses. Transmission and transfer case rebuilt 2005. Converted to 12 volts. My dad has owned this jeep for over thirty year. Always kept inside. Reconditioning this jeep was his dream for many years. Now it needs to be sold.
Too many new parts to list.
Call Steve 651.319.2572, for more information.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000
The seller lists this as a 1950, but the grille suggest 1946. Are there tool indents? I can’t quite tell.
“I have a 1950 Jeep WIllys CJ2a. Its in need of total restoration. It rolls and has original engine. Some spare parts.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7000.
This has an aluminum body.
“Custom and very beautiful aluminum bodied 1946 Jeep Willy. A real collector or jeep lovers delight. Runs great and is a blast to drive. Has been stored in a shop and handled with care. Included is a new set of 31″ Super Swampers and if interested a custom fabricated and machined aluminum grill. Drivetrain and body are in excellent condition”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7500
This looks good.
“For sale is a green 1948 Willys Overland CJ-2A. It has an operational PTO (power take off). It has virtually no oil drips. The Jeep starts, runs, and drives well. Transmission shifts smoothly and the 4wd system shifts in/out and works just fine. I reverted the system back to 6 volt for nostalgic purposes but the 12 volt resisters are still in place to convert it back. Tires have about 500 miles on them. This Jeep is road worthy and I have the title ready to sign over to you. It is hard to find these things in the shape she is in. I’m sad to part with it, but I bought it as a “getting out of the military gift to myself,” and now it’s time to move on to the next fun project. I can’t provide details on its history prior to my ownership, but I can give you details on every repair since I have owned it. It comes with a complete soft top, Willys Overland CJ2A reprinted mechanics manual, a spare set of spark plugs and a spare paper oil filter”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $39,000
This isn’t your every day restoration. It won the prestigious Grand National Senior Award, from the Antique Automobile Club of America, and is the only known jeep ever to achieve this distinction. Also, the seller is aware the price is above the normal price of the average restored jeep (so any comments apart that are not price related would be appreciated).
“1946 Willys CJ-2A with rare column shift, PTO, full eight-piece canvas top, all mechanical components new or rebuilt, meticulously restored to factory-fresh condition. AACA Grand National Senior Award, a perfect museum-quality specimen without peer. Over $45K invested. Price: $39,000.
This jeep is full of nostalgia and meaning for me. It’s similar to the jeep my grandfather bought new in Philadelphia after World War II and kept at his summer place in Maine. In the summer of 1959, when I was nine, he let me drive it up his long driveway to fetch the mail and over the blueberry fields. When he sold his place two years later, the jeep, alas, was put up for sale as well. Over the years, I’ve tried to find that exact jeep, so far in vain.

“I am selling a 1948 willys cj2a “lefty” Jeep!! There were less the 10,000 of these jeeps built one year. Willys put the spare tire on the drivers side instead of the passenger for a few months of production. The jeep does have some rust and body damage but can be fixed pretty easy.. the motor starts right up and seems to run good but the carburetor could use a rebuild. I put a new gas tank with sending unit in the jeep and also I have new canvas seats coming for the jeep… Jeep does need some TLC but would be a nice project to fix up for hunting or to do a full restoration… Please fell free to call me at (970-210-0680) for any question… Jeep is located in Crawford CO but I can deliver the jeep..”
UPDATE: Still Available
