Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. 1954 CJ3B for restore or parts. Has chevy v-6, 4 speed, adapted to stock dana 18 tcase. Clean drive-train, motor is free. Body and frame good condition. Missing parts but great potential. Have old title not in my name. 600 firm
1948 CJ2A Buick 231 v6 mated w adaptor to original t 90 tranny and dana 18 t-case. Runs good, 4×4 works great. Has low gears, 33″ tires, full roll cage, welded rear end. Great woods machine. Body good for age, needs restore or for parts. 2500 firm
1950 Willys pu truck Custom, built solid for rock crawling with 1 ton parts. Needs finishing, but does run and drive ok. Saling as project or for parts. Must check out Chevy 454/ turbo 400 auto, 205 gear drivin tcase, to Dana 60 Front end with new parts, and 14 b full floater rear welded right. Truck Advenger carb, painless harness, autometer guages,performance top-end, 42″ swampers almost new on 15″ beadlocks. Power sreering and brakes. A real beast on the trail. 4000 firm
Also have stock rebuilt go devil 134 l-head engine for Willys Jeep. been stored fore 2 years. Has tranny and tcase, will separate. 500 for engine 200 for tranny tcase, 6000 for all, firm”

There were some CJ-2As in the Navy as I understand it. However, I’d want to see some kind of plate or ID that verifies this.
“Fully restored 1947 Willys Jeep. This is a CJ2A Military Jeep (Navy surplus) with the original rebuilt 4 cylinder engine. It has been recently restored but has been stored in a garage for at least 30 years and has never had a rust problem.”
This sounds worth a look.
“Everything is original including tan paint and orange rims with black stripes. Canvas top and doors show wear. Body is reasonable with some rust. Needs fuel pump, brake job, etc. Has a new gas tank. Power takeoff (PTO), tow bar and front weights. Column shift, 2 lower speeds (over & under). 4 cylinders. Runs but not drivable on public roads. All serial numbers match. Service manual. Clean & clear title. Has always been in our family. 30,714 miles. Sold ‘As Is’ with no warranty. Can be viewed in Lexington. Will be sold in ten days. Best offer OVER $3,000. “Willys JEEP 1947 flat fender CJ2A flat head needs glass in the window t-90 3 speed with a spicer transfer case. the jeep also runs fine its still a 6 Volt. the frame is good and with a days work you can be driving it.price is $1000 they used them on most farms because it worked better than a tractor and has a PTO set up not this tranny but can find one. so it could run a gen,any farm machinery etc. get a piece of history and use it.
1947 willys jeep / 1956 CJ-5 jeep both 4 cyl they both run i will take $1000 each or $1500 for the pair.
