This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (06/01/2011) There appears to be value in this project.
“1946 Willys CJ2A, comes with an uninstalled 305 Chev small block engine, sits on 35’s. Great project for someone who has the time. Also have a running 300 straight, 6 engine, with transmition and transfer case, which came out of a 73 Jeep CJ 7, selling for $900.”
UPDATE: New paint and a price bump.
(09/02/2010) This looks like a nice jeep. Note that it is missing a fuel inlet on the driver’s side of the body, there is no tailgate, and it appears to be missing the drain holes by the steps. This may be a MB body or a fiberglass body.
“Nice new paint job, Colorado Jeep with new tub and original engine, lock outs, new brakes, ready to drive, all lights work and a great summer time vehicle… Better than a 4 wheeler to drive in the woods!!! engine runs great and starts fast….. buyer can have choice of wide tires on jeep or original rims and tires that are 16 inch rims…..920-856-6539……please no low ball offers as this is not a fire sale, has good Wisconsin title and I will be driving and registering this if does not sell in June…..”

The white jeep in the lower left appears to be a VEC CJ-2A.

“Runs good, rough but driveable condition. Has original rebuilt flathead 4 cylinder.
Good tires and spare, new battery, tow bar, includes misc parts.
Currently registered for towing in Nevada.
Have ownded for many years.
Needs to go to someone who can use it. Want it gone.

“Original frame, wheels, seat and other original parts. Does not have the original engine. Only 5,000 miles.
Was asking $1,600, now asking $1,000. It would be a fun project to restore this Jeep!
