Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “For sale is a 1946 Willys CJ2A Jeep. The jeep has a 215 cu inch V8, new tires, shocks, stereo, original running gear, and it runs great. It would make a very good rock crawler or daily drive if the gears were changed out. This jeep is in excellent condition so it could be brought back to original condition. Serious inquiries only. “This jeep was originally rebuilt as a hunting rig. Has the original flathead 4, 3speed tranny with a 2 speed overdrive, soft top in decent condition, power steering added, and red top battery. It is real clean but not perfect. . I’ll be glad to consider reasonable offers, but please don’t waste my time low balling, and scammers take it somewhere else. $4500 obo”
