This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (08/30/2010) ‘This CJ2A is very sound and strait! It has been converted to the 12 volt system. To much to list here! Has a custom fabricated alternater bracket. The head was overhauled! engine runs very smooth! Has new brakes,brake cylinders,master cylinder, shocks, has over flow jar for radiator,Engine runs very cool!.Carb is rebuilt, and have extra rebuilt carb as a spare.Custom horn,new gages, fuel sending unit,jerry can.Other parts”

Not sure this is a ‘collector’s dream’; I wouldn’t quite call it a rebuilder’s dream either, but looks like a solid rig.

“Ford 302 engine runs good, running gear/4 wheel drive are working. Climbs and crawls like a goat with hiking boots. Needs brake cylinder at right front. It is currently registered and street legal. Remodeling the house and have no time or money for extra toys. Body is rough and many patches made to it…but hell it’s a jeep. $950 will take it.
