The original L-134 Go Devil engine turns over freely with its own starter. I do not have time for this project and so I am choosing to sell it. I am including a spare Borg Warner T90 transmisison and Dana Spicer Model 18 transfer case for parts. Consider trade for wide front end farm tractor.”

This has a tempest slat 4 cyl. It looks like someone did a nice job of installing the updated steering column as well. Here’s a built example of the same motor.
Here is a link to a Jalopy Journal thread about 4cyls. The Mercruiser 3.7 and the Ford 2.3s seemed to be a favorite for fun 4cyl installs.

UPDATE: It turns out this was a MB (was listed as a ’46). And it sold to the first caller. It was listed at $2500.
There’s value, but I can’t quite tell how much. The might be a WWII body.
