These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a 1947 willys cj2a. it is a project.
The good :It has toyota axles with landcruiser springs, sitting on 35″ tires. It has the buick 225 odd fire engine. custom front and rear bumpers. comes with roll cage and soft top and doors. All new sunpro gauges. aftermarket seats and fuel tank.
The bad: needs drivelines, rear tail lights, finish wiring (starts right up but cant get battery to charge) and just needs a couple odds and in’s.”

(03/07/2011) This has a variety of mods. I’m unsure of the transfercase setup (someone recognize that?). I have to say I’m a little surprised this runs the early C shackles.
“FOR SALE: A 1948 jeep willys mudder. This was built strictly for the mud. Has a small block chevy with a power glide tranny. The guy I bought it from says it has a full size blazer running gears. (11/17/2009) This includes a brand new top, a rebuilt dana 18, a limited slip in the rear and extra parts. This might be a good deal if the rust isn’t too bad and it runs.
“I have a 46 2a for project for sale. Complete minus radiator, wiring, distributor, drivelines will need to be modified, sheet metal needs some finishing ect. The Good: 225 buick V6 with novak motor mounts, rebuilt T14, rebuilt dana 18/20 i cant remember with factory ebrake, dana 27 front, later model dana 44 rear with new limited slip both axles have been gone through, new 2.5 rancho lift kit wtih rs 5000 shocks and u bolt kit, bucket seats, besttop tiger top never installed but dustly I think I have the hardware for the top somewhere, The frame has only minimal surface rust otherwise painted black, the body is complete and very straight for age with some rust mostly if not all surface though, roll bar, good bias ply mud terrain tires 30/9.5/15 i think.”
It was running 30 year ago. It has been stored a while. It might be a good restoration project. This appears to have a Worman half cab.

I hate to lose it but as a wise wife once said I do not need two jeeps! please call as I do not like the e-mail games. “i have a complete 1947 Willys which seems to be all original and complete. has original 134 CI “Go Devil’ motor. Orig axles, tranny, etc. Can’t tell if it’s converted to 12 volt or not. rust in floor, hood a little bit, around windshield. doesn’t run. have not tried to turn engine over. would need to be trailered”
