Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This Jeep was given to me by a friend who’s grandfather died and left it to him. He lost the title so it only comes with a bill of sale. The granddad has owned it for many many years.
It sure not perfect and won’t win any beauty contests but he did have it running and driving about 2 years ago. As far as I can tell it’s pretty much complete and original and for the most part un-molested. This jeep is 65 years old so I would much rather you plan for the worst and hope for the best than be disappointed in any way-now that having been said I can’t imagine a better project jeep for the price. ”

If I interpret this ad correctly, this was a $40k present for his son (I have lots of thoughts here I think I will keep them to myself –btw, Medina is where Bill Gates built his 66,000 sqft house, so if this seller lives in Medina, I suspect he didn’t blink spending $40k on a jeep). I’m not sure what the price on this is, but the reason for selling it is very funny: A16th birthday present for my son, wife said no, wife is hott, jeeps gotta go:(

Some of the items include- fresh rebuild on L134 4 cylinder flat head motor, 3 speed over drive transimission, T-90 special transimission, front disc brakes, tires and wheels, full roll cage and nerf bars all tied to the frame, new interior, sterring wheel and column by Flaming River, stereo, front and rear speakers, gauges, indicator lights, and turn signals, heater, cb/pa and antenna, custopm bumbers, custom swing out spare and hilift rack, new top, doors, bimi, spare and hi lift custom covers, piaa fog lights front and rear, piaa horn,optima yellow top deep cycle battery, line lock brake system (like on dragsters) Viper security system, Tuffy Security Products center consul stereo compartment.
