It is a project still.
“Good start on project jeep. New fuel tank, seats, bumpers, tow bar, floor pan and other body work started. Everything is there just needs a little more time.”

UPDATE: **SOLD**
Brett reports that this seller has two projects for sale:
1. **SOLD** Price is $1800. Old Willys jeep with steel shell, engine rebuilt, new tires, carburetor, one of Dad’s many unfinished projects, worth the time to look,”
2. **SOLD** Price was $1500
“Old style jeep, minus windshield, engine complete rebuild, new carb, new tires, shocks, nice red paint. Dad is gone and this is one of his many unfinished projects.”
Brett spotted this fine. It looks pretty solid. I’m not sure if this runs or not. It doesn’t seem as complete as the seller believes. Maybe there are parts in a box somewhere?
“1947 Willys CJ-2A. Solid jeep, great starting point for restoration, or finish the wiring, add some seat cushions and use it as is. I’ve restored a couple of the WWII era military jeeps (MB & GPW) over the years. This was going to be my first CJ restoration, but my current work schedule isn’t going to allow time for it.
You don’t find many this complete and unmolested anymore. Check out the photos and feel free to call or email with any questions. Thanks! Chris (801) 831-0741”

An upside down steering wheel is never a good sign!

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8000
It just goes to show you that you shouldn’t believe everything you read (regarding NADA) — with the exception of what you read at eWillys … ok, most of what you read?
“Previously restored. Garage kept. Hard top included. NADA average retail of $10,700.”
This needs a new front R&P, but otherwise sounds like it has some value for the price.
”
1948 Willys- 69 Buick V6 225 cu, Saginaw non-PS, two fuel tanks-with electric fuel pump, back seat, decent top, seats need replaced or covered, rewired with one wire alt, heater from 68 ford p up, receiver hitch for winch in front, set up for York air compressor on engine, has oversize brakes on front and have axle assy with brakes to be installed on rear axle, two jerry-can carriers on rear, tire carrier is a complete hub assembly. Have extra parts for it-two trans/transfer, misc steering components, misc axles. Only 1 problem with it now is the the front diff is blown. It still goes down the road, you just don’t have all wheel drive. This Willys has been a running project/toy. Been used mainly for running in the snow and hunting. Have taught two children to drive in it. I have bought another Jeep and have to many projects. Not a fancy rig but will do what a Willys will do. Call 541-566-2818 or 541-377-0106.”
