“This Jeep runs great and drives great. street legal. nice top. Call me to make an offer, or trade something else. Sam209-460-0786.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8000
It just goes to show you that you shouldn’t believe everything you read (regarding NADA) — with the exception of what you read at eWillys … ok, most of what you read?
“Previously restored. Garage kept. Hard top included. NADA average retail of $10,700.”
This needs a new front R&P, but otherwise sounds like it has some value for the price.
”
1948 Willys- 69 Buick V6 225 cu, Saginaw non-PS, two fuel tanks-with electric fuel pump, back seat, decent top, seats need replaced or covered, rewired with one wire alt, heater from 68 ford p up, receiver hitch for winch in front, set up for York air compressor on engine, has oversize brakes on front and have axle assy with brakes to be installed on rear axle, two jerry-can carriers on rear, tire carrier is a complete hub assembly. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $800.
I’m thinking this needs a little more than just some wiring. What is on the hood?
“Has been converted from 6 volt to 12 volt. Complete. Needs to be wired”
UPDATE: Was $750. **Sold**
(01/05/2011) The floor seems to be missing some floor.
“1946 Willys Jeep CJ2A. Great restoration project! Engine, frame and drive train is pretty good. The tub is the worst but repairable. The front portion of the Jeep has minimal rust and is solid “floor board curve forward”. Engine turns over and has spark. New 6 volt battery 1-3-11. No title, but I will work with you on getting that resolved.”
