About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Seller has a few Willys posted this 2A along with a spare Tub, then a Chassis in a separate Ad, Wheels and Tires not included on this one, you will need to get some more details on the packages. Is the spare tub a 3A?
Not to confuse the 2 Ads will post them separate.

1946 Willys Jeep CJ $16,500 Lakeside-Marblehead, OH
Really nice CJ, been modified listed as a ‘46, lots of work into this one. Super clean and nice simple looking set up.
Information from seller:
Selling my modified vintage 1946 flat fender Willys Jeep, pristine condition, 2.5 GM Iron Duke 4 cylinder engine, Holley 2 barrel carburetor, header, electronic gauges, electric fan, 4 speed transmission, roll bar, full top with doors, original 16” steel wheels and rubber. This Jeep will run down the road 55 mph easily. If listed it is available. Clean title.
Most of it is new sheet metal per the seller so it’s not quite all 1946 looking, but says it runs well and looks very reasonable. Also Yeah reading the sellers list, you probably need to really sit in and then drive a Willys prior to buying. They do make those smaller steering wheels saw those listed out the in wild, might be some help. I also highly recommend if you are looking into a Willys Truck that you sit in and test drive one of those they are tight. Wagons not so much have lots of room to play with on those.
Information from seller:
1946 Willys CJ-2A jeep, in very good condition, I just bought this jeep and not what I wanted, I can barely fit in it, not for folks with a belly. Runs great, drives great, the tub, fenders, grill, windshield and frame, hood all replaced a few years back, Engine was rebuilt a few years ago, only driven in parades. new tires, seats good, come with doors, Oil pan gasket leaks a little, needs new gasket. Horn dont work, and no windshield wipers, Trades considered, I just paid11,500.00 for it so dont send a offer, you will get LOL
Nice looking, pictures are a little on the small side.
Information from seller:
1948 CJ2A is restored with upgrade to 12v electrical system. Engine is original L134 with a 3-speed T-90 manual transmission with Dana axles.
Title: Virginia, Clear
Super complete listed as a VEC CJ2A. I personally can’t qualify this as VEC so I removed that from my title on this one. The grill looks newer, but maybe behind those lights are the oversize cut outs I typically see on a ’46. But it looks clean if your read the ad it sure sounds like they did some work to this one. Would love to be able to say this is a VEC, I know someone out there reading this can assist on that, post up a comment what you think and happy to add that to the title.
Information from seller:
I’ve decided to sell my very early production CJ2A (#14520). Documented 29,000 miles. Originally Harvest Tan w/ Orange wheels (still Tan in engine compartment. Inside wheels are still Orange.) All serial number plates are still present. Body numbers match and are still on the tailgate and the floor gusset. Engine number is within 207 of the serial number and still present on the block.
It has all the early features such as:
Column Shift,
Square Windshield Frame washers,
Body Indents,
Straight Windshield tilt brackets etc.
I just spent $3,600 servicing the Jeep including:
a new clutch
restored the radiator,
new fuel lines,
replaced the carb with a new one from Vintage Jeeper,
replaced the fuel pump.
New engine mounts.
Plugs, wires & tune-up kit.
Mechanic reported the brakes were recently replaced and it stops perfectly.
We also painted the block since it was already out and changed all fluids.
It has very little rust- floor under the toolbox needs a section and a few hat channels just need the tips replaced. Wood is good. It appears to have had some minor body rust repair before someone painted it red. Magnets stick all over it.
This is absolutely one of the easiest restoration projects you’ll find. Runs, Drives, Shifts & Stops as it should. Clear transferable PA title in my name. *will delete “is this available “
Sold as is, so block, head, pan, looks like crank is in it.
Not much to go along with this so it’s a gamble for sure, L134 can be re-sleeved, Willa Dean has 4 new sleeves in it back to factory spec. Sometimes you need a few to make one.
Information from seller:
Take out Willys Jeep motor can be used in a CJ2A, CJ3A, Truck or Jeepster. Sold as is just as seen in the pictures. $375 or best offer.
Easy lift here if you are in the market for a 2A grab and go enjoy the rest of summer and fall seasons instantly! This is really nice as well, and its Blue in the NE so it makes the List! But it’s a sweet Willys for sure, and I feel you have room here at this price point to hunt down a few accessories like a PTO or Winch and make this your own still.
Information from seller:
Jeep was restored no corner cut.

Selling my 1948 CJ-2A. Great Jeep and great for somebody looking to restore a jeep and to keep running and work on. The Jeep runs great. No problems. Only aftermarket parts on it is the radiator and the radiator reservoir everything else is original. Been really fun to own and drive and to work on. Again everything works and drives great for a 77 year old vehicle. Texting is the best way to reach me, thanks! The Jeep is located in Grantsville, Utah.
