About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“We are selling our 1947 Willys jeep that needs some loving it’s been in storage for many years . It will make a great jeep for the rubicon are just for the fun of taking it out on week ends. Also I think it has T-90 Borg warn overdrive.”
Not sure how much value is here. The seller indicates there is a 3 Point Hitch, but I see no pics of one nor do I see a rear PTO gearbox (maybe seller meant ‘was’ equipped?). It does have something unusual sticking out the back. I can’t make sense of it.
“Very Very Rare.
This 1947 Willys Jeep was used Off Road. It’s equipt with a factory 3 point hitch in the rear and a factory hydraulic ram for a front blade.
The flathead L134 engine is full of water. The spark plugs disappeared
do to water on the cylinder head.
No title, never had a heater, rusty floors. It’s still 6 volt. The hydraulic pump is gone.
A new body is available for $2,400.
Adapters for a 4.3 Chevy are less than $500.
These Jeeps are called Agrijeeps.
This jeep with a new body and rebuilt engine would be worth a great deal.
I will consider offers on the
Ag components. Not cheap! The Willys is very straight and deserves a 2nd chance. Not a ding in it.
It has a bunch of rare parts. The entire front sheet metal is really nice.”
This a totally restored Jeep the original owner invested over $30,000 everything is rebuilt are replaced. You have to see it to believe it. All original drive train with a add on overdrive, that adds 10% to top end. That’s the extra stick you see in the floor with the 4 wheel drive. It has a new body, that wasn’t prepped right and the paint is peeling in some places. I have all the receipts pictures of a the rebuild. New springs tires brake steering box and all steering linkage new steering wheel seats gas tank total drive train rebuilt new wring 12 volt new radiator. New top and doors, electronic ing.
I hate to sell it but I’m getting to old to get in and out of it. I learned to drive on a 1948 on the farm Dad traded the 48 for a 1952 which he kept until 1967. Needless to say this is memory lane for me, when I saw it I had to have it. I hope whoever gets it has the same thrill.
I have recently install the blocks on hood for the wind shield when it is layed down.”

My friend Joe in Pennsylvania is looking to sell his jeeps. He’s got a variety of flat fenders, including “Rusty“, a 1956 DJ-3A I sold him back in 2019. All four of these have good PA titles. Here are some older pics of each jeep (Joe is working getting up-to-date pics. If you have interest, email Joe at abguy @ enter.net (remove spaces around the @)
“Also, I have a 62 hardtop (no title) that has had the body scrapped but all else is intact as a rolling parts source. There are a lot of accumulated parts, many upgrades, a new ½ oft top for the ME unit, 2 new tanks, etc.”
