This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This 1948 Willys CJ2A Jeep has a 1961 283 Cubic inch Corvette engine. New brakes, Newer tires, Fresh tune up, Tow bar. Good for hunting or off road fun! Needs very little work. Asking $2000.00”

Brett spotted this .. something’s not quite right. This jeep was recently in Cave Creek, Az, at a price of $10,000 (http://www.ewillys.com/?p=33651). What’s it doing in Booneville for $1500? Has to be a misprint? 2 of the pics are the same in both ads.

Both run, both appear in good shape. This might be a very good deal as the seller is throwing in additional parts.

This looks pretty rough. If it has no papers, than I’m not sure how the seller knows it is a ’42?

“I have 1948 jeep windshield frame,front fenders,hood,dash,seat frame, to sell —– I do not want to seperate — These parts have been stored in a barn over 30 years and have some minor surface rust,minor dents,dings,vibration cracks,but they ain’t bad for being over 60 years old. very repairable original jeep parts.”

(08/07/2010) Check out the bump for the radiator … then check out the radiator! Been in the family since new.
“1946 Willy s Jeep with PTO and PTO belt pulley. 283 V8 engine,12 volt system ,Roll bar,larger drum brakes and chrome wheels. Doors are not in pictures I do have them. This Jeep was bought new in 1946 by my dad and has been in family for 64 years. I will not sell pieces so do not ask to split it up”
