This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have an old Willy’s I need to get rid of. Its been stored inside for at least 30 years. I aquired it several years ago, never found the time to do anything with it, and trying to make more room. It has a very rare Worman Jee-Cab hardtop on it as well. Was told it ran when it was parked, but I have never tried anything with it. You can see the seller (or someone) stretched the fenders and hood to make this fit the frame.

Bob forwarded me a pic of a CJ-2A from the Malabar Farm Historic Landmark in the Ohio State Park System for the museum series.
Bob wrote, “Here’s a shot of the Jeep they have down at Malabar Farm near Mansfield, Ohio. Every Sept there is a small gathering of Jeeps there. Louis Bromfield, the property’s former owner, had several Jeeps on the farm during his lifetime. He used them to get around the farm, along with his dog, to supervise farm operations. As a side note, Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall were married in the main house on the farm on May 21, 1945.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $150.
The project is a bit odd, but the price is good — there are some salvagable parts here.
“Early Willy’s project. It has two good front fenders and the hood is there. The rest of the rig is kinda modified. $150obo and its yours to haul away. If your in Billings I could drop it off or come and take any parts you want.”
