“RUNS GOOD, GOOD DRIVE TRAIN…NEEDS BRAKES”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay
(11/14/09) I don’t suppose it last ran when parked on the trailer?
“this willys ran when parked. It has a 4 cld.replacement moter 4 speed and is 4×4 everything works needs battery and air in tire tire has slow leak. will sell for 3,000 or best resonable offer will concider trade for older running crew cab pickup and will look at other trade options”
It appears complete. It’s not running. It might make a good trail jeep.
“1946 Willys CJ, V8 chevrolet 283 , Saginaw 4 speed transmission, hurst linkage, saginaw steering ,Dana running gear, hanging pedals, clear title, needs finishing 360 852 3192”
This looks in good shape, though note there is a hole in the gas tank.
“CJ2A Willys jeep in good condition. Original drive train. Very little if any rust. rancho 1.5 springs and shocks diamond plate corners and rockers for looks not covering rust. runs good. normal were and tear from sitting in garage some scratches and dings. No top, and windshield glass is not in the frame. What you see is what you get one AWESOME CJ2a. Brakes are hard to push they work just hard, need bleeding from sitting. There are some minor wiring issues, i can’t get the head lights to go from bright to dim. radiator is not the best. gas tank has pin hole…”
This includes an Overdrive. Pics coming soon. I’m not sure what Mall205 means.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay
This looks very nice.
“This kills me to do, but i need to knock down some debt. i have a restored 46 cj2a that i would like to sell. it has not been restored to original, but is exceptional none the less. everything was done 2 years ago. the windshield frame, fenders, and grill are all original. the tub was replaced, the engine rebuilt, wheels and tires replaced, new spare tire mount, new gas tank, all new seats, new glass, new top and doors, remote oilfilter kit, new battery, new brakes, basically the whole willys was rebuilt, except the transmission and transfer case. it runs the original flat head (rebuilt about 4-5k miles ago), tranny and transfercase, and axles. i have daily driven this for teh last 2 years during late spring, summer and early fall. it fires right up, runs smooth, sounds good, and has been perfectly reliable. the tires are 1.5 years old 30×9.50 bfg mudterrains mounted on 15” ford steel wheels. the whole jeep was repainted when the tub was replaced, and teh interior and fenderwells have all be sprayed with tinted spray in bedline to match the paint exactly.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3450.
“1946 Willys CJ2A, runs great, clear title, current registration. Original 4cyl L-head and 3-speed (floor shift) transmission. In the past 1-1/2 years: Rebuilt carb, Rebuilt brakes (new pads, resurface drums, rebuild wheel cylinders), Rebuilt master cylinder, New exhaust, New points, plugs, condensor, dist. cap and wires, New fuel pump, New head gasket”
UPDATE: **SOLD** “Was $1000.
There’s been work done on the body. It sounds like the seller must sell before xmas, so this might become a great deal.
“My 1946 jeep is for sale, son decided to take apart and rebuild, and ran out of follow through! Engine and all parts are there, with several extra pieces and parts. Body parts sanded and primed. Jeep was running fine as we used it around the ranch, until he decided to “fix it up”. Flat head 4 cylinder, oil bath air cleaner, minimal rust. I believe it is a CJ2A civilian. Has a removable homemade hard top, 16” tires. Email me offers, has to go before Christmas day.”
It runs and drives, but the pedals are frozen? Can someone explain that to me …
“1947 Willys Jeep with Chevrolet 4 cylinder 153 engine. Has new Coil, plug wires, points and condenser. Runs and drives. Engine smokes some. Pedal assembly froze up and multiple rust perforations in floor. Has tow hitch brush guard and roll bar. I drove it last Saturday after Thanksgiving.”
