This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (09/09/09) This includes an overdrive and a winch. Given those extras, this sounds like a pretty good price.
“1947 WILLYS CJ2A. I have owned since 1981. was my driver for a long time with the 4 cylinder in it. Purchased a rebuilt and balanced 4.3 v-6 (chevrolet) from motorworks in Spokane. Installed it and never finished. Never fired it off. It has ford 11″ brakes, warn overdrive, warn upright elec. winch w/cable controls (works), 3 1/2 lift w/springs, full cage, buckets, like new full top (black), diamond plate, spare tire/can carrier on rear. All there, just needs to be put back together. have many extra parts to go with it. transfer cases, adaptors, transmissions,etc”

“This vehicle runs great, looks just as good and has plenty of power, authentic winch, spare tire mounted on the passenger side and new tires. Three speed manual transmission 4WD w/ worn hubs. Its been covered its entire life and the engine doesn’t have over a thousand miles on it, I don’t have any use for it and thought someone else might find a better use for it.”
$330 a jeep .. yeah, not too bad of a price.. It’s gonna take a big trailer to pick all of these up.
