This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (06/25/09) This is a nice looking, mostly restored (though not to an original state) CJ-2A.
“This Jeep Willys is titled as a 1941 Jeep however the Vin# indicates that it is more likely a 1945-1946 model.Mileage showing 5426”
This looks good.

This doesn’t seem like a bad price for $1500.
“1946 Willys CJ2. Rebuilt original engine, radiator, starter, 12 volt alternator. New master cylinder, wheel cylinders, shocks, springs, tires, chrome rims, exhaust system, turn signals, rear view mirror, gas tank, windshield wiper and motor, steering wheel and more. Actual mileage unknown. Less than 100 miles on rebuild. Over $2000.00 invested.”

“I have a 1947 CJ-2A willys jeep It’s not running or complete but it dose have a 134 flathead engine, T-90 tranny, and a mod 18 T-case.and a Very Nice Body tub, the only rust is on the flore of the tool box. L”

This might be a very good deal.
“This is an unrestored, unmolested original Willys Jeep. It has the original 4-cylinder engine and 6 volt running gear. I bought this Jeep last year, not running, and I put a starter, battery, new cables and a new ignition switch in it. Now it starts and runs and I’m able to drive it up and down the street. I’d love to keep it and make a nice mountain goat out of it, but I just have too many projects and can’t devote the time to it. My loss is your gain! It comes with a gas can with mounting bracket, a tow bar for 1 7/8 ball, trailer hitch and four spare wheels (I was told they are the original wheels). The NM title is clear and in my name.”

This has an unusual top.

This is a beautiful build, but the price will scare a lot of buyers away. A tilt front flattie is certainly rare enough to warrant posting.

Transmission – NP435 Four speed with deep granny 6:98 tol, new bearings, seals, sincros and mainshaft, rebuilt with Advance Adapters kit to marry to Dana 18, also rebuilt with new seals, bearings and gaskets. Front & Rear ends – Model 23 front-41 rear, rebuilt with new seals, bearings, gaskets 4 wheel full size disc brakes, new rotors, calipers, pads, hardware, front axle equipped with ATV manual hubs.”
