This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The floors have diamond plate, so it is hard to tell how good (or bad) they are. Everything else seems solid. The serial number is #31000

First year for the civilian version of the Jeep.

Original running gear and 4-cyl L-head engine.
Low miles on overhaul, runs very well.
Converted to 12V electricals with alternator.

Period-correct aftermarket turn signal kit installed.

1947 CJ2A, with clean title
brand new aftermarket tub, with zero miles on it, frame is great and comes with the complete drive train in place. I was told when I picked it up, the guy building it was driving the jeep around the neighborhood with no body on it.
