About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Early 46 cj2a solid start to a project no engine transmission or transfer case it’s a roller I have a good inner windshield with glass that gos with it and the original seat frames asking 2500 has a good Colorado title has stock 15in cj5 steel wheels on it”
The price of $3100 shown at the time of this posting on the FB posting is actually a bid price. If interested in this solid look 2A, you’ll need to message the seller to gain access to the auction process (sounds a big convoluted, but you never know).

“Flat fender Willys Jeep for sale. This flatfender was restored about 15 years ago and is powered by a Buick 215 V8 which has an aluminum block. Runs, shifts, and drives well. This Jeep is in great shape with no rust, no bondo, and a very straight tub with just the right amount of patina. Softtopper top included and in decent condition with soft doors. Brand new battery. Comes on Mickey Thompson mud tires and with a spare set. Front bumper is set up to take Warren winch and back bumper has receiver to take spare tire/fuel can carrier. Many common upgrades have already been made which include tilt steering column, larger engine, flat tow bar, interior carpet and back seats. This is the perfect jeep for cruising to the beach or around town. Everywhere you go people will appreciate this vehicle”
“Solid old jeep runs, drives and brakes well. Clear title. Mechanical restoration 5 years ago. Body original and untouched, well earned patina and surface rust. A few rust spots but this is road legal and safe as possible (no doors no seat belts no turn signals as it came originally). Gauges, clutch, 4×4 and PTO work great. Switched to 12volt to crank the original Go Devil motor a bit easier. Start it regular and it starts easy. Wait a month or two and it’s grumpy. New carb- new starter -newer tires. This first year civilian 1946 jeep has special one year features. Very cool fold down windshield with safaris. Military front axle. Has frame for bed with the parts. No cover. Back seat needs redone. Reasonable cash offers considered. This was my dad’s first car. My great uncle was original owner. I know its full history. Parked inside almost all its life. Has enjoyed many adventures that added character but not damage.”
“Looking to trade 1948 Willys CJ-2A for another interesting vehicle project; sports, classic, muscle car etc. Also would consider speed parts, engines. Etc.
This jeep had been at my grandfathers hunting cabin for as long as I can remember, sat for a long time but with fluid change and tuneup fired right up. I converted to 12 V and pointless distributor along with new carburetor and master cylinder. Comes with several extra new parts. No title it was lost long ago so best for trail rig farm use.
Have video of it running I can share, no smoking knocking etc. Water pump is getting a bit noisy but I have a brand new one that is included just needs to be installed.”
