About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Jeep willys parts or rebuild. Plus alot more parts … new frame with added stiffener ..another whole parts willy and motors and trans. New leaf springs and painless wiring harness. Everything must go. 1k firm”
Bailey’s selling this jeep. It seems worth a look to me. It appears to have a rare windshield extender that on top of the windshield frame that (I think) allows a channel for a 3A and later top to attach (it does come with a top).
“1947 CJ2A with original engine in good condition. Fully restored in 1996 with updated electrical and new transmission in 2018. Fully street legal and currently registered in Texas. Kept in garage for last 8 years and driven regularly. Great weekend cruiser or Jeep for the Ranch. Comes with aftermarket top and doors for winter driving. ”
“1949 Willy’s cj2a project needs work asking $2000 obo no title comes with some new parts and a burned up m38 that has a complete drive train message me with questions or offers”
It doesn’t run. The floor has been rebuilt, but it wasn’t rebuilt to any standard specs, nor does the floor sit over the frame on hat channels.
“1948 Willys Jeep. Clear Texas Blue Title in my name. Original engine, transmission and transfer case. Motor spins freely. Clean, clear oil and water. Hundreds of new parts. Perfect frame. Has unknown transmission issue. Class 3 2” receiver hitch, great brakes. Body has been professionally re-floored. Larger seat recesses already done. Real nice potential for restoration or just enjoy. Needs seats and transmission work. First $4250.00 cash takes her home. Trades for quality hunting items considered with or without cash. I can and will deliver for gas mileage and time as we agree. Feel free to PM me or call me directly to come and see the jeep. It is located on our ranch in May, Texas.”
The rust-colored 2A is a column shift, but not a VEC. It also may have the Hudson steering mod. It’s rim style is hard to find, too. Not sure how much value is actually here though.
“We have two Willys Jeeps. One of the units has a column shift (pretty rare) . I understand around 650k we’re built only 29k with column shift. Not sure of running condition all were bought on estate. Not sure of mileage , year, etc. Make offer.”
“1946 keep Willy. Parked 2 years ago and it ran. I think all it needs is a new carburetor and some TLC. Open to offers No low ballers! Very rare item I know what it’s worth. Have been putting off selling it for years but just don’t have the time to make it look pretty again!”
“1948 Willy’s CJ2A- 231 Buick V6,3spd w/Warn OD,5.38 gears,recent tune,fluids changed,new alternator,seats,gas tank. Runs,drives and stops. Not a mint one owner but cool old Willy’s to have fun with.”
