These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1948 Jeep Willys CJ2A, civilian model. Restored and converted over 30 years ago as a military version. Top speed 40-45 MPH. Still features sidesteps, rear seat, PTO (power take offs), roll bar, full canvas top and doors, directionals and headlights. Turnkey vehicle. Fun vehicle for around town, beach, lake or farm-type property. Asking $12,500 or BO. PM me if interested.”
(11/12/2020) This jeep has undergone some modifications. The body has been cut in places and patched in others. Perhaps the most unusual aspect of this jeep is the hood (aftermarket?), which is mounted at an angle with the back up high, presumably to fit the Chevy 350.
I am selling a very nice 1946 Jeep Willys-Overland CJ-2A, twin stick 4×4, manual, 3 speed. It has had a frame-off restoration. No rust on the cab. VERY STURDY, no rusted through portions. Nice, thick paint. The paint is pretty good overall, but has scratches and imperfections. The has been swapped for a Chevy 350 with true dual exhaust with cherry bombs (Sounds good, not obnoxiously loud). It starts easily, runs great, has tons of power, and drives well both offroad and street. The transmission was pulled from a CJ-2A 6 cylinder, and the remaining drive train and axles are all original to the vehicle. The passenger seat flips up. The windshield folds down. The lights work. “I have an 1945 Willy runs and drives. I have it o. The road and title in hand. No trades I need the cash. No movers and mailed checks. I don’t need help selling. I have a new clutch to go in and the side handles for the tub.”
“So it’s time for me to sell my favorite toy. I’ve had this little red Jeep for a couple years now and it’s been a blast. The 78 Buick V6 is a beast in such a little vehicle. The Dana axles are strong and make this thing fun to run on any street or trail. The 33” tires aren’t huge but they’re no rinky dink spares either. The chrome wheels make this thing at home at any hot rod meet up or rigs and coffee too.
It’s got an original Warn 8274 winch with a steel cable. People have offered me a grand just for that, but I won’t separate them. It’s got a flat tow set up bolted on, you can leave it on or remove it quickly. I’ll also include my Willys Tonka truck with it.
