About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Selling for some. It’s a 1948 Willys Jeep… Model Cj2a..3 speed …4 cylinder flat head …mileage on speedometer is 37,339. Took 2 years to build the jeep. Have title in hand. I have spent a lot of money getting it to be what it is today.
Posting the year as per the seller information, someone may be able to dial this in a bit by some of the pictures. Does not take much to get to $500 for a parts rig, what do folks think on this one?
Dial in the year and will update this one.
Information from seller:
Willys jeep rolling chassis for sale. Been sitting for many years and is taking up space I need. Would make a cool restoration or rat rod, very simple chassis. No title. Need gone asap, no trades. $500. Located near Milltown WI
CJ2A Project, looks like its organized and sorted in the pics. Overall Willys take up a lot more room apart then 100% assembled and even better when they drive. But all projects have to start somewhere. I like the way its laid out in the photos and should be an easier time to perform inventory of what is what.
Information from seller:

Most parts are there Ran before it was disassembled for a v6 and auto transmission upgrade Rebuilt th350 transmission with adapter to stock t-case which has been gone through and painted. Chevy s10 v6 which had low miles and has had the heads off and cleaned up with new gaskets etc. painted black. Has a Carter 4 bbl carb for it. Reach out with more questions and I’ll try to answer them. Located in Idaho Falls. Motivated to sell it.
Nice looking project, CJ2A, seats and wheels really pop and grab your attention, sound like it got a good start going for it.

This Jeep definitely turns heads as we are driving down the street. It is ready to take to car shows and to go to Jeep fest. It has 21479 miles. We still drive, so might be slightly higher. This is plated, runs and drives. I have top, roll bar, doors, gas can and shovel (not all pictured). Please see video and pictures.
Located in New Castle, PA. IT IS NOT LIKE YOU CAN FIND THIS ON EVERY CORNER TO BUY. Come take a look; as pictures do not do it justice!
FOR SALE 1946 JEEP WILLYS.
I was going to sell this last year; but I couldn’t part with it then. I’m ready to now; so feel free to share this. It is not like you can find one of these on every corner and running. I have the doors, top, roll bar, shovel and gas can.
Nice weekend cruiser. Fresh paint, good interior. All stock. Just had a ton of maintenance work done. New starter, battery, fuel pump/lines, cleaned tank, all new brakes/lines, carb, fluids, tune up. Runs and drives great. Windshield folds down, really fun to drive! Fun classic at a great price.
Hosted by Jelliff Auction and Realty, I feel this is a CJ2A with a CJ3A windshield, but I will defer and modify that determination, chime in and let me know if I’m wrong on that.
My reason for that is the ignition switch looks to be to the right side of the dash and it looks like it has longer leg frames on the seats,. There appear to be remnants of the bow holders as well possibly.
Willys Jeep flathead 4 cylinder, (body is in rough condition)
