This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Very nice original 1948 Willys Jeep . CJ2A . Original running gear in good condition , starts right up , no leaks or oil burning . Have replaced a few things over the years , starter , generator, master cylinder. Everything works , brakes and shifts well . No body rot or cancer , good glass , top and doors . This is a two owner Jeep with current owner having owned it for over 40 years . You probably won’t see another one like this for this price .”

“I have a 47 Willys project that I was going to build. Things have changed and now I don’t have time to deal with it. It is a complete body with title. I have a complete soft top for it also. Has a cj3b windshield so it’s one solid piece. It is cracked. It is sitting on a 83 Toyota pickup frame with front and rear Toyota axles. I have 4.88 gears and install kits with solid spacer for the diffs and misc driveshaft parts. I also have a brand new high steer kit for it also with power steering setup. It will also come with 35” rollers, 84 22r, 83 complete harness with steering wheel and gauge cluster, 2 g series transmissions ( 1 top shift and 1 forward shift). It will also come with a forward shift tcase and w56 5 speed and tcase. Have bucket seats with 4 point harnesses and a newer back seat with harness.”

The serial number for this is 33869, so a relatively early 2A. I’m not sure how much value is here.
