This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (10/07/2020) I’m not sure the ’45 CJ-2A is a ’45. I don’t see a column shifter and I can’t see rear hubs.

“I am listing this for my dad. He has 3 willys jeeps for sale. One is a 1945 cj2a. It is all original and complete but doesn’t run. It has set in the barn for several years. The other two are 1947 cj2a’s that he bought for parts. One is complete with a steel hard top the other one is missing the engine. None of them have titles. He isn’t willing to separate them, he wants to sell them together for $5000.00 .”

“I have a Willys CJ2A that I am looking to sell or trade. Was told it’s a 1946. Has original motor and trans but the engine is froze up. I have pulled the head and have the valves soaking. Body and frame are in good condition and not rusted out. It does not have a title. Bill of sale only. Looking to get $800 obo or trade on atv, guns, guitars, etc. let me know what you got”

“1947 Willys Jeep Cj2a clear title new clutch new top near new tires new front wheel cylinders. Good running jeep comes with electric snow plow and a Ramsey pto winch. Runs good needs seat recovered but no issues. Fresh oil change antifreeze and gear oil in transmission and transfer case. Not rusted out like all the others kept in a garage. (10/19/2020) There’s a blemish on the passenger side; could be some rust or damage. The rear either is diamond plate or has a rubber diamond plate pad.

“I am selling my 1940s Willys CJ-2A. It starts, runs, drives, and stops. I recently put new wheel cylinders on but the brakes are still weak. It is 12 volt and has the modern gear reduction starter.
Was a off-road unit at one point and has the mud tires for it.
The body is in rough shape but everything else is in decent condition.
Comes with an extra front axle and some other misc. parts as well as the title.
This would be a good off-road candidate or for restoration. I am selling because I do not have time for it.
