About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“This extremely rare find is in excellent condition, it has a Chevy small block, very solid axles, large drum brakes, with a Cadillac telescoping adjustable steering column, 4 speed transmission with a Warn All Range Overdrive transfer case, it will take you where you need to go, this thing has shown me a lot of love and I am ready to pass it on to the next person that will treat it right. Please let me know if you have any other questions.”
(06/28/2012) “1948 Willys CJ2A Jeep for sale

“1948 CJ2A. Overall good condition. New tires, seat frames, and seat cushions. 12 volt conversion. Stock ’48 drive train – 4 cyl. L-head, 3 speed, 5.38 gearing. Body decent, has some panels replaced and some fill. Very solid. Runs and drives good. Currently registered and inspected.”
“1946 willys cj2a jeep. Original motor runs perfectly. Rebuilt carter carb. New radiator. Completely new or rebuilt brake system. Rebuilt transmission rebuilt transfer case. Rebuilt axle seals and bearings. Runs drives shifts and stops as it did in 1946. Completely street legal and registered for on road use. Body and frame are completely solid and have no rust! No bondo! No filler of any kind. Lots of welding has been done over the last 70 years. It’s not always pretty but it is completely solid. Tires are also new. It’s not a perfect original but it’s a completely solid good running repaired original willys. If your interested send me a message and we can talk. I’ll possibly consider trades but not sure what. Certainly no jet skis atvs or small passenger cars.”
It’s unclear if if either of these are running or not. The CJ-2A is priced at $4000 and the CJ-5 at $8750. The prices were calculated based on a vehicle appraiser. Looks like the appraiser doesn’t know jeeps and misled the owner on their value. You can see lots of photos at https://judysjeep.com
“1947 Willys Jeep for sale. Have the pink slip – not registered. Original owner. Has some surface rust. Had appraisal done by auto appraisal company. Jeep was used on a ranch and then stored in a barn. Currently stored inside a facility.”
