This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This has a 1950 truck data plate for some reason (it’s listed in the ad as a 1950 Willys). It also has the smaller CJ-2A serial tag, which is how I dated it.

new carburetor, the grill has been replaced with an MB grill with LED headlights, custom professional made tail gate that holds two jerry cans (included) and spare tire also have a roll bar & sun top, current registration expires Aug 2020 & custom plate. pink slip in hand. asking $7300”

“This is an amazing example of a “REAL” 1946 CJ2A Willy’s Jeep. 1946 was the first production year for the civilian jeep. So this is a real piece of American history. The paint is perfect, all the seats have been recovered with new canvas and foam. new period correct tires with original wheels. The engine is a 1942 Studebaker Flathead six. I almost put the 4 back in, but this history of this motor is much better. I wish I could find out who swapped it and when, but it had to of been done in the 50’s-60’s. Also, it has much more HP and torque. This little Jeep drives awesome.”
