About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Need to sell ASAP.1948 WillyArmy Jeep.1942 fully rebuilt motor in it.Alot of spare parts for it some are brand new.The jeep has completely been restored.Very good condition.Call for more information and pictures.”
“The Jeep has never undergone a full restoration, but Willys America in Sonoma County worked on it to improve safety and drivability. Some of the engine and body work include new, replaced, or repaired components, such as wiring harness and cable, leaf springs, shocks, 12V system, fuel tank, clutch, hoses, brakes, fuel tank, and many more components. Receipts available for inspection. The jeep has several dents, scrapes, and rust spots. The windshield wipers do not work. There is no top. It is not a show vehicle, although fun to drive. I garage it in my hometown of Long Beach (Bluff Park), CA. Clear title”
“This old Jeep is a consignment unit, so I do not have a personal feel for the unit. It seems to be in very good condition, overall. It has the flat head 4-cylinder engine, and the owner states that it has a new clutch. The Jeep runs and drives good. The snow blade goes up and down with the winch. Manual angle adjust. The owner set the price, and I think he is pretty firm on it. If a cool old CJ2A is something you can use, this one might fit the bill.”
“1947 Jeep CJ2A. Floor boards are rusty, has a military tub on it. Only one seat for the front(not original) have factory style back seat. Engine is out of it, it ran when pulled, but the head gasket leaks. All parts are there. Have title, and is on non-op”
“1946 Willys Jeep CJ2A rolling chassis ($200 o.b.o.) Front of frame needs repair. Complete Dana front and rear axles. I also have the Dana 18 transfer case ($150 o.b.o.) Roll cage available too ($100 o.b.o.).”
“It can be used as a recreational or farm/ranch vehicle currently. It would need more work to become street legal. The engine starts and runs nice. It has a new aluminum radiator and never gets close to overheating. I’ve also recently installed new gas tank, lines and fuel pump, along with a new five year battery. The tires have great tread for the mud. All the gauges and lights work, but recently cracked the back light covers, which is a cheep and easy fix. I have a reprint of the original manual and guide book to the complete tear down and rebuild that will come with the vehicle.”
“1948 Willy Jeeps. We have two. $4000 OBO on the pair. Pictures of one are posted and have the body/transmission/motor of another. Pictures available upon serious inquiry & request”

“Project, appears to be the original unmodified go devil motor, electrical system is still 6 volts. Needs a new clutch, transmission was removed but comes with Jeep. Registered in Vermont until April 2020.
Vermont does not issue titles for vehicles over 15 years old. You can either re-register in Vermont or I will give you a bill of sale to get a bonded Texas title. No trades! $1900.00”
