This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. There might be some value here. Body seems in pretty good shape. It might actually be a ’46 body based on the data plates.

Engine runs, but smokes.
“1947 Willys CJ2A Rolling chassis. Frame is in excellent condition with no rust at all. Good axles, transmission and transfer case. Engine runs but smokes badly. Steering column is included but not in pictures. Very complete just removed the body for another project.”
Jeep is in Louisiana, but seller can bring to parts of Texas.

“Selling my cj2a. Got it on a trade and had intentions of bringing it back to life! Don’t really have any time and have another.. body is okay, bay is pretty clean, we got the motor to turn over before I deployed and haven’t had a chance to work on it sense.
