This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Great ’48. Very clean original stock body. Engine is a Chevy 153 that runs, 40 lbs oil pressure, 12 volt with alt. with a new clutch, pressure plate & throw out bearing. This ’48 also has a roll bar & tow bar. Good solid undercarriage/floors. Two of the four hat channels do have rust (easy fix). Spare tire & rim included. Decent 31X10.5×15 tires. Original vin tag still riveted to frame. Could use better paint, brakes, & gas tank cleaned, plus tinkering.”

Engine is out of the vehicle.
“49 Willys Jeep, all stock including 6 volt system and flathead engine. Engine is not in the veh. but has been recently machined and partly assembled. has many brand new stock parts, including all new wire harness(not installed) and new stock like tires(5 including spare). Also have soft top frame and doors(no material). The jeep was running in good condition until cylinder failed on engine, had it machined and started to assemble and at this time unable to continue. Asking 9500 or best offer, only respond if serious buyer, thank you.”
I suppose the dalmatic hubs, the grilles, and the rims have some value.
