About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I have for sale a 1948 Willys Jeep with half cab and plow. Has a newer tub, no rust, good oil pressure, doesn’t overheat, in cab heater, M38 wheels, electronic ignition, newer style starter, seats are in great condition, windows roll up and down. It is an older restoration. It is ready to drive and enjoy. $9,000 without plow. $10,000 with 2 way plow.”
“1948 willys Jeep. This is a great fun little Jeep it was built back when everything was built to last and when Jeeps were tough as tanks. This Jeep has spent most of its life cruising around the back roads of Nelson county and only shows 90,000 miles on the speedometer, it was modified in the mid-50s and a homemade very well-engineered hard top was added along with removable doors and heat from a mid 50s Dodge and has remained virtually the same since.
It runs and drives great and is very dependable with loads of new parts, it has new brakes, new tires, new exhaust and the carburetor was rebuilt, all of the gauges work as well as all of the lights. It shifts through the gears perfect and the four wheel drive works great too. I can’t really think of anything that it needs. This little tank has some minor rust in the rear tailgate and a few spots around the rockers but it is far from being a rust bucket it actually has a really cool look to it just like it sets the scratches, rough paint, chipped paint and small amounts of rust give it character. If you’re looking for something fun to just play around with and cruise the back roads, take up into the mountains to go camping, hunting or something fun to have around your property this would be a great Jeep.”

“1948 Willys CJ2A – It ran and drove, but I removed, cleaned and rebuilt the motor with new bearings and seals. Had been bored before, pistons and cylinders are all good, no ridge. Extra set of military tires/rims. Titled.”
“1946 Willy’s CJ2A Jeep made to look like a military Jeep. Everything works as should and is a really fun Jeep to drive. It has a 1952 3B engine, runs great, no known issue. Pictures show all the positives and negatives. A lot has gone into this Jeep, but only asking $6500. Missouri title in hand. Don’t need help selling. Email me with interest, we may work out phone contact and ability to see/drive. Would consider part cash part trade..”
“This Jeep has been garage/basement kept at least the last 40 years. Last ran in 1989, stopped using it because the brakes failed, peddle went to the floor, don’t know what’s wrong. Original 4 cylinder engine and transmission. Inspected in 1985. Being sold as is, where is.”
“Willys CJ2A runs and drives good. Original 6 volt 4 cyl engine
Good shape for the age.
Some patches, (etc) as to be expected for a vehicle of this vintage.”
