This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This jeep has it all. Fiberglas tub with rolled liner sitting on a original frame. Spring over conversion Dana 44 front and rear with 5.38 gears, spool in rear and lock rite in the front, with 4-wheel disc brakes with Wildwood master cylinders and pedal. 1967 Chevy small journal 327 350 horsepower model only been on 4 trips since it was rebuilt 3 years ago. Bolted to a brand new rebuilt turbo 350 transmission with a recently rebuilt Dana 18 transfer case. Fully caged and attached to the frame. 3 suspension seats (child’s in rear) bolted to the cage with 4 point harnesses for all. 10,000 pound winch (I know it is over kill) 35 inch tires on M/T knock offs Ram assist steering with 1 ton cross over steering.”

“This jeep was my project in high school about 5 years ago. It’s been kept in the garage since then. Starts and runs like a champ, the engine (original 4 cylinder L-head) was rebuilt just before I got it, so very low hours. We had the transmission rebuilt, shifts like the day it was built. Body and paint (’46 Harvest Tan scheme even though this is a ’47 by serial number) is in excellent condition, interior protected with color matched bed liner. Hat channels are like new, no rust.

This may have updated axles, but the frame looks to be 2A based on the transfercase crossmember bracket. I suspect only the title is a 1965 CJ-3B.
