About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Mostly original, Original Motor converted to 12V, New Aftermarket radiator with Dual Electric fans, New Water pump newer Gauges and Fuel Tank. New Windshield. Jeep Runs and drives fine. I just don’t use it as much as I would like and hate to see it sit. It was used mostly in parades including this years Veterans Day parade. I can send more pictures upon request.”

“I have for sale my 1951 and 1961 Willys jeeps. The 1961 runs and drives great, starts every time but the 1951 does need some work. The 1961 jeep has 10000 miles on a complete rebuild. They are both original. Call for more info.”
Generator isn’t charging, but looks like it may be a good price.
“I have a 1948 Willy’s Jeep. Its all original besides the paint. Runs and drives. Original flat head 4 cylinder. It is still a 6 volt system. Clear title. Its in great shape besides the paint. It has a brand new 6 volt battery in it. The generator is not charging currently but would be easy fix. Has always been garage kept. It has been setting around 7 years. It still has the original military tires on it”
“1I have a ’48 Willys Jeep CJ2A. It has the original motor, transmission, transfer case, body is in great shape, rarely leaves the farm. It had disc brakes conversion on the front, so it stops straight, soft top is in good shape, it has the optional Willys heater, and a hand crank start option. It does have an electronic ignition, 12 volt system. Calls only, ”
(11/05/2017) Glenn’s got this 2A with a Roger’s snow plow for sale.
“Anyone interested can contact me thru The CJ2A Page Personal Message Link or email me at glenns@tdstelme.net. It does not currently run. I can help with transportation in the New England area for cost.”
“100% drivable CJ2A Willy’s Overland Jeep, first model civilian Jeep produced after WW2, 70 years old now! can’t say it’s not a project because it could use a few things, although it’s pretty cool the way it is. Been kept very original including new wiring with the 6 volt system and has the flat head four motor. Came out of the state of Wyoming some years ago and is pretty solid with much patina and patching, no top, windshield folds flat, good tires on newly painted rims. I️ took this in as a partial trade, drove it home 40 miles, runs and drives ok but steering box could use some work, it’s not perfect and price accordingly, $500 below Hagerty fair condition value. Prefer cash but consider trades. clean title in hand.”
