Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I’m selling my 1946 CJ2a. Runs great -80% original comes with a Best Top and doors. Tires are 1 year old retreads from Treadwright these are great tires. Everything works as it should. Transmission is a t90 from a cj3b works great-shifts well. 12volt upgrade with newer alternator. Older 8,000 lb wench with remote. New brake shoes and front brake lines. Some dents. Must see in person to appreciate.”

“I am selling a running and driving 1948 Jeep. This Jeep belonged to a friend of ours and was in storage for 8 years or so according to it’s last registration and of me seeing John bombing around Silver City in it. John passed away last year and his daughter is here from New Zealand trying to tie up his estate. It will be sold on a clear New Mexico title. The Jeep was at his storage unit in Deming and was up on blocks .
