Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Someone did a pretty good job of marrying that top from a ?? to the jeep.

The body is a CJ-2A, so unclear if this is a ’49 3A chassis.

“Amazingly zero rust!!!!Previous owner had original Willy’s 4 cyl rebuilt. Tranny gone through and brake brake likes. 12 volt conversion. Probably go 55 mph. “This Willys 1947 CJ2A is the first civilian jeep after WWII.
The body was removed and separated into components-fenders,
hood, grill, windshield.
The floor channels were replaced with new ones.
The yellow color is as original. Because the components
were painted separately, the yellows tend to not match.
The motor, transmission, and transfer case were rebuilt.
The tires are new 600×16 white walls.
It has new seat covers by Beachwood Canvas.
It has a new roll bar.
A hard cab is available for purchase ($500.00).”
