This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1947 WILLYS JEEP CJ2A I’ve Owned it for 14 Years, last driven in 2005, sat for 11 years while I was deployed. It is not frozen but needs lots of work; Needs New Body Tub, Brakes, for sure.
Ready for Restoration now, but Too Much Work For Me! I purchased this JEEP while on active duty in San Diego, CA, from a garage, prior to that it served at Camp Pendleton and Oceanside Fire Dept. This JEEP has a Willys flathead 6 cylinder Hurricane Engine, and a PTO. Wife said it’s gotta go soon. Make me an offer! Will deliver on my flat bed utility trailer within 50 miles for free. Title in Hand, Odometer has been broken for 14 years?”

Estimated manufacture date of March/ April 1946. Extensive rebuild from the frame up taking 5 months to complete. These has been 500 miles driven since the rebuild with original mileage at 48,932. This Jeep drives and works. This is not a show room jeep but good working order. ”
It’s mix of MB and CJ parts. Has a winch-lift on the front.

Original 4 cylinder flathead engine that runs great. 4 wd works fine. 12 volt conversion with alternator, new tires, new master cylinder, new fuel pump near new battery, tow bar. Clean NC title.
