This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This is a 1947 Willies CJ Jeep. As the picture show, it is in very poor shape and is in pieces. As far as I can tell most of it is there except for seats. I have no idea as to worth. “1947 CJ Sand/Mud Dragster with 9 inch Ford rear with spool. Model 44 Chevy front/narrowed. Ford top-loader transmission. Pro-shifted / 1 3/8″ input shaft. Aluminum / paddle tires. Complete less engine. This is a modified jeep intended for off road use only. Not suitable for street use. Text for current pictures.”
Looks like it has a DJ-3A grille.
“1948 willys cj2a Colorado title & matching dash # plate. Has all matching #. Have all original parts except the 2 seats, muffler, emergency brake cable, & gas cap. Fort Worth Starter & Generator changed starter to 12 v & has alternator. Engine ran well & sounded solid. Started to restore but have to many projects currently.”

UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $15,000.
(11/25/2016) The drivetrain has been rebuilt.
“Over 200 hours of restoration time in this one. Engine has been rebuilt, new bearings, seals, u-joints. Most recently we had the transmission and transfer case rebuilt by a transmission mechanic, replaced fuel tank, carburetor, much of the shift linkage, brake lines. Seat belts have been added and it’s be switched to a 12V electrical system. Tires are new, spare included. It didn’t have the spare mounted on the side when we got it. It’s been kept inside our garage.
Price is negotiable. We can deliver within the 48 states.”
