About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“For sale is a 1946 Willys CJ2A Jeep. This is a great running and driving Jeep for cruising through the trails. I’ve done a ton of work to this vehicle as highlighted below:
“1948 Willy’s Jeep. Completely restored. Blue in color. Not actual miles because it has a new engine. 1989 Engine 4 wheel automatic drive. V6 4.3 Engine. Local buyers only. No shipping this vehicle.”
“This is a 1947 Willies CJ Jeep. As the picture show, it is in very poor shape and is in pieces. As far as I can tell most of it is there except for seats. I have no idea as to worth. It may be better for parts. I have not title. I need to get it off the property soon. Make me a reasonable offer and you can have it. Call me for location/directions to the property.”
“1947 CJ Sand/Mud Dragster with 9 inch Ford rear with spool. Model 44 Chevy front/narrowed. Ford top-loader transmission. Pro-shifted / 1 3/8″ input shaft. Aluminum / paddle tires. Complete less engine. This is a modified jeep intended for off road use only. Not suitable for street use. Text for current pictures.”
“1948 willys cj2a Colorado title & matching dash # plate. Has all matching #. Have all original parts except the 2 seats, muffler, emergency brake cable, & gas cap. Fort Worth Starter & Generator changed starter to 12 v & has alternator. Engine ran well & sounded solid. Started to restore but have to many projects currently.”
“Over 200 hours of restoration time in this one. Engine has been rebuilt, new bearings, seals, u-joints. Most recently we had the transmission and transfer case rebuilt by a transmission mechanic, replaced fuel tank, carburetor, much of the shift linkage, brake lines. Seat belts have been added and it’s be switched to a 12V electrical system. Tires are new, spare included. It didn’t have the spare mounted on the side when we got it. It’s been kept inside our garage.
Price is negotiable. We can deliver within the 48 states.”
“Selling my ’47 flat fender. It’s a great little keep. Everything works except for a couple gauges. Motor runs fine but recently switched to a new carb and needs some tuning. Runs and drives as is but carb definitely needs a tune.
The body is in pretty good shape for the age. Not much rust. I diy rhino lined the tub last summer and it’s holding up nicely. Tires are old but still work fine.
The winch is not included but may consider throwing it in for the right price. ”
