Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Drain holes have been filled, but looks solid.
“I have a 1947 CJ-2A with a 1973 Buik V6 retrofit to original equipment. 1/4 Ton. Photos tell the story as far as the restoration. It runs but needs some tlc from someone with more time. Motor is stuck. Seller is also selling the trailer for $400.
“Motor is stuck from sitting. Transmission and transfer case are not stuck. Body is solid but has lots of patches and some bondo.
This would be a good project with a motor swap. Sold with bill of sale only but can register and convey with current registration at buyer’s expense (Generally less than $100 including the insurance required to do so).”

“For sale is a willys cj2a jeep almost completely restored just needs a few minor things done like speedometer and install wipers I have 2 12 volt that will come with it just need to be installed everything else is rebuild….front rear end all new bearings seals and breaks transmission and transfer case all rebuild f head 4 cylinder engine has been received gaskets and tuned up new aluminum radiator all brand new steel body new seats new window new rims has OK tires but was using them to just move it around tell I got new ones. Call or text if you have any questions willing to negotiate on a price or consider trades for hunting stuff and more let me no what you got ”
